Fun Activities Outside of Rome

Despite the many fun events and activities Berry provides, sometimes students desire an adventure outside of the bubble. Unfortunately, Rome does not provide many options outside of Broad Street, restaurants, bowling, and Fouche Gap. Luckily, there are several fun activities just an hour or less from Rome if you’re looking for an adventure.
Here are some activities, both paid and free, outside of Rome:
· Chattanooga (1 hour from Berry)
o Paid: Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls & The Frothy Monkey Coffee
o Free or Paid: Hamilton Place Mall (it has a Cheesecake Factory)
o Free: Hiking at North Chick Blue Hole & walk around downtown
· Atlanta (1 hour from Berry)
o Paid: Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, Zoo Atlanta, Topgolf & Atlanta Botanical Garden
o Free: Centennial Olympic Park & several free museums
· Other Paid Options
o Crumbl Cookies in Kennesaw (1 hour from Berry)
o Buccees in Calhoun (30 minutes from Berry)
· Other Free Options
o Cloudland Canyon State Park in Rising Fawn (1 hour from Berry)
o Hippie Hole & Little Canyon River in Fort Payne, AL (45 minutes from Berry)
